On September 21,2012, she attended the Peace Bell Event along with UN SECRETARY GENERAL Ban Ki Moon, Michael Douglas, Dr Jane Goodall, Forest Whitiker, and Monique Coleman.
On September 24,2012, Aishwarya was appointed as the International Goodwill ambassador. She attended the Women's Leaders Forum "ensuring digital health and education for every woman and every child" at the Yale Club of New York.
She visited the Indian Mission where Indian kids were dressed up and welcomed her with flowers. She interacted with the staff, kids and the wives who were there to welcome her.
On September 25,2012 she attended the high power dinner hosted by the Secretary General at MOMA( museum of modern art). Attendees included Shaquille O Neil, Deepak Chopra, Various heads of states and Members of States.
